And Jean Paul Sartre had the following to say about it
I cannot make liberty my aim unless I make that of others equally my aim. – Existentialism Is a Humanism
Which is to say, only by pursuing the liberty of others will you secure liberty for yourself. The Golden Rule is stated in many different ways. And I can’t think of a better strategy to achieve a rewarding and successful life.
