Typically when you reach for a food supplement like a protein powder you are doing it to eat healthy. I was quite surprised recently to learn that over half of vegan protein powders for sale contain heavy metals in them.
Lead, Mercury, Aluminum, Cadmium… those kind of heavy metals.
